The BASSnet™ SAFIR module is designed specifically to address and manage the safety, quality and reporting issues highlighted in the report.

What is SAFIR?

BASSnet’s Safety & Improvement Reporting (SAFIR) module, is a best practice solution specially designed for the reporting and analysis of events arising from accidents and hazardous occurrences that affect safety and quality on board ships and within an organisation.

It is customised to meet the safety requirements of section 9 of the ISM Code, ISO 9000 and ISO 14000:

a) Safety
Accidents/incidents and near misses with regard to personnel injuries, damage to property or environment, and commercial/service loss.

b) Quality
